An attractive set of 4 Nancy Drew poster stamps.

Here, we've uncovered, for the very first time, an original old map showing the landscape from "The Secret at Shadow Ranch", one of detective Nancy Drew's earliest capers.  The map shows a variety of puzzling spots and dangerous detours, plus a low-lying ranch house; some horseback riders on a winding path; a campfire for cool, starlit evenings; and the essential cowboy boots, cacti, lantern and snake.  Two Xs mark spots which may prove of great interest to those who track them down.

Stamp sets are numbered and signed.  Edition of 50.

Poster stamps were popular during the first half of last century - think of them as very tiny "posters", and a precursor to stickers.  These were printed and perforated in Portland, Oregon by our partners at the Portland Stamp Company.  NB: these do not have postage value.  You still need to add a real stamp!
